About Emiliya

Emiliya is President and Founder of Flourish, an organization dedicated to utilizing research based tools to enable individuals and organizations to flourish.

Emiliya fuses's the best of Eastern philosophy with Western science to provide people with holistic tools to increasing their happiness, well-being and sense of flourishing.  She draws on research from positive psychology, neuroscience, sports psychology, cognitive behavioral therapy, kinesiology, body mechanics, nutrition, yoga, complimentary alternative medicine, spirituality and energy sciences.

Emiliya spreads these tools through individual coaching, consulting, workshops, training programs, classes, healing sessions, writing, audio programs and virtual seminars (click here for upcoming events in your area).

Emiliya is a success coach for the National Society of Leadership and Success and she runs the New York Science of Happiness Group.

She is a form facilitator of the Penn Resilience Program and has international experience training teachers in positive psychology and resilience programs. She conducts seminars based on positive psychology in the community and Yoga Ed. in the school systems. For years, she has studied naturopathic and complimentary alternative medicine and incorporates holistic approaches into her work.

Additionally, Emiliya has a near decade of work as a professional entertainer. Her top strengths are gratitude, love of learning, zest and enthusiasm, forgiveness, love and the capacity to be loved!

Training & Education

Emiliya holds a Masters in Applied Positive Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania where she studied with the founder of the field, Dr. Martin Seligman

She is a summa cum laude graduate from Long Island Unversity's Honors Program where she holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and triple-minored in fine art, business and philosophy.

Emiliya completed her vinyasa yoga training at Sonic Yoga in New York City, where she is currently working on her advanced 500 hr training through the Vinyasa.  She is also currently working on her Anusara Inspired Teacher Training. She holds additional certifications in intenSati where she studied under the founder, Patricia Moreno, Thai Massage, iMap, Motivational Interviewing, the Penn Resilience Program, Brain Gym, Laughter Yoga, Yoga Education (Grades K-12), and Reiki Levels I & II.

Emiliya is a member of the MAPP Alumni Board, International Positive Psychology Association (IPPA), International Coaching Federation (ICF), American Psychological Association (APA) and Yoga Alliance.
